Software that actually produces instrument sounds On the orchestral side I have been very curious about Synful's orchestral module. It uses some interesting technology and is extremely lightweight compared to all the giga-sampled offerings out there. It appears to be stronger for playback than for real-time performance however, so let that be a consideration. Good price too. |

I've accepted this answer because it's basically saying that what I want to do cannot be done currently, which is a shame, but accurate. Ableton Live - Editing / Moving multiple envelope points at the same time as your note data? Hmm, that's an interesting approach. It's a little bogus if what you really want is some nice launchable clips - you'll have to bounce into arrangement, trim the clips, and then bounce a mixdown to another track and use that track. And then that track would be audio, not MIDI. I wonder if there are any other solutions? |
