Video with person 'writing on glass' effect You could always have her write on actual glass in front of the screen and then flip horizontal. |

Equipment: new interface necessary or not? (Using Mackie 402-VLZ3 with 2010 iMac) Went with a Presonus Inspire used for $50. FireWire, and has just enough I/O to perfectly integrate into my existing setup. |

What equipment should I use to record a conversation, cheaply? +1 for "if you value your work..." I never really liked the Zoom recorders for their build quality, but I have a Roland R-09HR that I love... There are a few good options from Yamaha as well. |

What are the Concentric Ring Connectors On Wireless Capsules called? The literature I can find seems to be calling it a "standard thread-on capsule." Perhaps there's no name for the "connector" per se, since it's not actually a cable interlink, nor does it have any uses outside of connecting a mic capsule to a wireless transmitter. |

What are the Concentric Ring Connectors On Wireless Capsules called? Wow, that totally beats me! I'm surprised that isn't a proprietary thing--does that show up on virtually all wireless capsules? Ah, and for a sense of scale, these are handheld mics we're talking about, right? |

How can I simply record, edit, and export one track of V/O? Oh, also: The Mbox 2 interface you have already offers zero-latency monitoring from the built-in headphone jack. You should consider just learning how that works and avoid spending additional money on more hardware. |

How can I simply record, edit, and export one track of V/O? You can always export to Mp3 with iTunes. Fission doesn't record, but the simplest recording method is easily the QuickTime Player. Find it in the Applications folder and choose "New Audio Recording" from the file menu. You can then save an AIFF that you can edit in Fission. |
