Not enough patches in my stage piano Wow, I hadn't seen that yet! Can't believe it's only $30... |

Where can I find the Windows 95 Startup Sound transcribed into music notation or MIDI? @ColeJohnson That's just what I hear it as. It's a dense synth texture with overtones that sound like strings. If you can't pick it out of the audio clip, it's the sound that swells up and peaks right about 4.7 seconds. |

Where can I find the Windows 95 Startup Sound transcribed into music notation or MIDI? I actually knew that about Deep Note--I was drawing the comparison between them both being difficult to fully recreate at present day (deep note because it was actually randomized in the first place)--unless you're saying Eno used a setup that can be easily replicated nowadays? |

Where can I find the Windows 95 Startup Sound transcribed into music notation or MIDI? Ah, one last thing I forgot to mention: I lowered the tuning by about 45 cents to match up against A440. Not sure if the sharpness was in the original or only in that recording you supplied. |

Where can I find the Windows 95 Startup Sound transcribed into music notation or MIDI? If anyone is wondering, there are no double sharps--that G is just regular G#. The scaling made it a bit ambiguous. |

Where can I find the Windows 95 Startup Sound transcribed into music notation or MIDI? Not at all what you're looking for, but I'm sure a few of you will get a kick out of this: youtube.com/watch?v=4skgihJHQ5M |

Recommended format for a large embedded stop motion animation on website? I think that's too big for a .gif, so some sort of movie is probably the best answer. You don't necessarily need to use Flash--there are a number of JavaScript players that use HTML5: look at JW Player. |

Projecting image from computer that is a distance away This one is a little less expensive since it doesn't include the audio (which I imagine you won't need). If I was doing technical direction for a show that required this on a budget, that's probably what I would purchase; knowing that Tripp-Lite is a reputable brand, and that the product is highly rated on Amazon. The real professional quality stuff (and thus, professionally-priced) can be found here. |

Projecting image from computer that is a distance away Not going to work in a million years. The second link is just the remote unit for the product I linked to in my post--it requires the base unit, which is powered and is going to encode your VGA signal digitally. The first link is just a straight analog converter at each end. If they work at all, the quality is going to be worse and MUCH more susceptible to interference over a 100ft+ unshielded cat5e run. |
