I like music and computers.

How do I record multiple mics to a computer without a mixer? Hm--then you're leaving out important information about your equipment. It's possible that one of those X->USB interfaces is capable of multichannel input. |

For videocasting, what is the best microphone? Are you ruling out lapel mics for any reason? |

Vectorized audio? Does it exist? Its pros and cons? Which formats? MIDI is fairly standardized; different implementations have certain quirks (like keyboards that think C3 is middle C instead of C4) but it's mostly standard. A MIDI file is essentially the same signals as you would get from a piece of hardware, but put recorded down with a timeline and occasionally meter information. |

What options do I have for sharing a large audio project with several collaborators over the Internet? You have completely changed your question from what was originally asked. This question was about deployment when I answered it. |

Video with person 'writing on glass' effect @claws Exactly like that. I prefer the flipped actual writing--it's probably easier for the actor as well. Also it reminds me of this. |

Is there any option for mirror imaging in video editing software? Comments on that video say the actor is right-handed in other videos, so this one is flipped horizontal. |

How does Salman Khan make his screencasts? This is probably in reference to the Khan Academy. Here's a video example. |

Going about creating a new song in a DAW? Sounds like you're confusing producing with songwriting. Many producers do that as well, but you should realize it's two different things. Songwriting is a music topic. |

how can I smoothly move a camera without a dolly? @leftaroundabout Aha, thanks! Moment of inertia |

Are there any non-weighted key MIDI controllers out there with 76 - 88 keys? Hmm, yeah. That sounds expensive, and is probably going to further limit your choices to 61-key or fewer keyboards. |

Are there any non-weighted key MIDI controllers out there with 76 - 88 keys? The Keystation is velocity-sensetive. (I own a Keystation 61es.) I was under the impression that one can categorize that as aftertouch. What's the difference? |

fast routing (switching) of a single output to n distinct monitors You can google "Speaker selector" and find a few options, but you can't control them with a computer, and they're usually n < 8. They're also only safe at low-medium power levels. If you want to do this that way, you're almost certainly going to have to design and implement your own solution to have it both computer-controlled and n > 24. |

When I load the track in garage band, I can hear it, but I can't see it! Is it only the wave form that is missing, or is it the entire audio region? |
