Are outboard processors dead? I mentioned the good outboards are of higher quality. I don't mean the technical statement that they can't be modeled into software. I mean the more practical, general reality (that I see) that these guys (I'm thinking Distressors, LA2As, PCMs) are out there because they have established reputations for their qualities and personalities, which are much more on the real side than the heavily hyped plugin ecosystem. |
