May 31	comment	Audio Interface from Laptop to Monitors/etc At this time the MPC is independent. I may make a drum beat in the MPC and then want to overlay some keys from Ableton on it. So I'd have to MIDI sync it. But I'm not sure if this should go into an interface or straight to the MacBook. Thanks!

Dec 15	comment	Preventing tangled mic cables Exactly. Flip-coiling is what the pro's do. The producers I met at NRG Studios in Hollywood when we recorded there (nrgrecording.com) showed us how to do this about 10+ years ago. I use this method for audio, digital, Ethernet, heck ... all cables to prevent tangling. Takes some practice but its flawless once you get it down.
