What are the audio production capabilities in Sony Vegas Pro because I see mostly plug-ins only? what a great in depth answer! thanks a ton. I have used audacity with Vegas, which is good. I have used it for audacity's great noise removal which I think it does very well. I am still trying to understand the audio effects and editing which is my achilles heel. I thought of using sound forge, but I want to use Reaper as an audio editor to have complete power over the audio as well. |

Totally confused with the plethora of different electronic music production hardware; any way to work out what they do? that is a very nice comprehensive answer, thanks, and I have cakewalk sonar. Which wasn't producing any sounds until I had to made a track for a specific synthesizer, and then allocate notes which was not intuitive to begin with and the manual is alien speak. |

What's the difference between a synthesizer and a sequencer? @BenV, so in super layman's view the sequencer is the director and the synthesizer the orchestra of musician doing the actual production? |
