Is it possible to record audio-responsive Quartz compositions along with the audio? It is for live audio presentations and developing effects for software. It is also for mixing video, audio, and other things live. It was not really made for post production. I do want to fire up x-code myself, at one point I was going to but was then distracted by another project. I will keep it in mind though. |

Is it possible to record audio-responsive Quartz compositions along with the audio? Well you have to look. There are many good screen recording pieces of software. I can look but Quartz is unfortunately not made for doing that kind of stuff. |

Is it possible to record audio-responsive Quartz compositions along with the audio? @ObscureRobot Screenflow has a good FPS, but you need to buy it. You can even use Garage Band for the audio. |

Save existing project to an external drive Final Cut Pro X 10 Well I doubt you can run strait off of the drive. Is it OK if you copy it over to your computer again then back to a drive? Most software does not like reading off of drives. |

FCP vs Motion 5 Thanks, I just need something to start with and then move up. Thanks for taking the time to write all that! You pinned the nail on the head for what I need to do and Adobe has always been big on my list. I eventually will also want FCP. I will go with Motion because it seems like what I want right now, a better iMovie. I have worked with adobe software and want to work with FCP. Thank you for your help! |
