Dec 16	comment	open-source or free AVCHD conversion to image sequence @Erik, yes Blender uses ffmpeg in Linux and Windows builds but as far as I know you can also build Blender with ffmpeg option under Mac Os. Writing a script is a good idea for a quick tool, please let us know about the results.

Nov 30	comment	FCP 7 swap in externally edited audio track To improve your workflow, you can also try exporting an XML for your sequence. I don't know what audio editor you use but probably they have such a capability to import sequences from different editing softwares. This way you can edit just the needed parts of your audio files and export a single file to replace your whole audio.
