How do I achieve a cleaner sound? What I meant in saying I could automate different filters is to for instance, use the same melody played by different instruments and then automate their volume levels down and up so that they're not layered all at once. E.g. Piano gradually moves down from Volume level 80 to 60 while synth moves up from 60 to 80. The professional sound often seems to be the signature sound. That's why I'd do that while attempting to not having so many sounds to achieve that, that I get mud like I did with my last production. I'll mail you now! Thanks! |

How do I achieve a cleaner sound? Yes, I got very tight with the EQ but perhaps I could take that to greater extremes by using more sounds with automation and letting virtually nothing through but the thinnest portion of the eq band? |

Fl Studio replacement I see your point. I attempted installing Vst's into Ableton and immediately had 64/32bit compatibility issues. Would your recommendation then be Cubase? |
