Sharing music mixes and copyrights? Yeah exactly - but isn't there a standard system in place for that or something like that? I mean if I am mixing 20-30 tracks of 20-30 artists that's a lot of people to ask for permission not to mention a lot of time? (What if they are big artists? - e.g. won't be expecting a response at all or maybe I should be talking to their labels or?) Should I be contacting their labels instead. What do amateurs do? (apart from publishing ilegaly) |

I would like to learn to mix tracks into a DJ set - where should I start? I am willing to go something like £200-£250 / $300-$400 for software + hardware. I will look at this DJ2 GO thing |

I would like to learn to mix tracks into a DJ set - where should I start? Thank you for your answer. I am mainly interested in MP3/digital mixing, because I don't want to invest in vynil or CDs. Having said that - do you have any recommendations on starter software + hardware kit for me? (maybe one of those traktor packages?) |

I would like to learn to mix tracks into a DJ set - where should I start? @Magrangs I tried playing around with Virtual DJ but it feels very unnatural using the mouse to rotate knobs and such. Re - music making - you are right - anything is possible, but there is too much theory to learn, which I can't invest the time in at this point :) |
