Exporting multiple tracks to MIDI in Ableton Live I don't think this is possible. You can go to the arrange view, and on each of the midi tracks, select the entire time range of the song and then consolidate (ctrl+j) the midi clips. This will create one midi clip per track but it doesn't seem like a nice solution. |

I would like to learn to mix tracks into a DJ set - where should I start? Well it depends how much you are able to spend. I would personally go for the Kontrol S4 (but that would be my personal choice). I haven't used too many mp3 mixing packages to be honest but if you feel the turning of control knobs etc via mouse a bit weird then I would probably purchase a MIDI controller. How to avoid a muddy mixdown? Would you eq out the 200-300hz on all tracks or would you leave some non-competing tracks in that range to cover the whole audible frequency spectrum? I guess cutting out all of it can take the 'body' out of the sounds? |
