Vocal recording - Output level is too low even though the preamp show it's clipped I guess I should be more clear about the setup I'm thinking of. From what I read, leftaroundabout, you use a more hardware-based setup, with most of your effects being applied to the analogue signal before it hits the interface. I don't have any hardware effects or compressors, so monitoring has everything to do with the software if I want to hear my instrument with effects. |

Audio from PA system to Camcorder To sync the audio to the video, you want to have an even that is able to be precisely identified by both the sound and the video. A nice hand clap works well. I've done this with great success. |

Do I need an amplifier to listen to the signal audio coming from a DAC? Both of those should work well. Toslink is what you would use, because that is the output the AppleTV provides. |
