What software is best to record stereo and encode mp3 I've had some success with it just messing around and recording scripts, but haven't used it with GarageBand. Apple's apps seem to be better supported though so I'd expect basic things to work. I've been able to get what I need using Apple's docs before but there are probably good sites or books out there. I think it was kind of intended to help with graphic/video/audio production workflows. |

How should I improve my singing? I am asking either question, really. I'm under the impression that I can sing tolerably, but when I record I notice so many problems I hate it. Is there anything I can do either technically or vocally to improve the result? Warmup tips? Multiple tracks? More cowbell? |

How should I improve my singing? Oh well, I thought it was worth a shot. Any ideas where to ask? |

Non-audio applications on performance OSX laptops Good idea. FWIW, Snow Leopard is extremely stable, and bad apps usually can't take down good ones. I'm amazed how many things I can run at once on my machine and still get good GarageBand performance and stability. |
