Adobe Premiere not reading audio from .MTS file MTS is just a container format. Try using Gspot or Mediainfo to find out exactly which codec it is encoded in. Have you considered simply converting them? Also, are you sure you're dropping the audio channel onto the timeline also? Or do they show without audio in the library? |

JVC Everio GZ-MS90E aspect ratio is 5:4 instead of 16:9 Your video is 16:9, you just need to create a sequence at widescreen square pixel (1024x576, P/A of 1.0). If you drop the footage on that sequence it should appear 'correctly'. |

After effects rendering This is entirely dependant on what version of After Effects you're using, what codecs you have installed, what the video is for, and what resolution you need it at. |

Upload a video to Youtube without losing contrast What does the contrast look like in Vegas itself? QuickTime displays files incorrectly to start with, and as such makes it difficult to judge the actual colour and contrast of a movie (it shows everything as slightly washed out). |

Simple Video Editing Tool? Since when were Media Composer, Premiere Pro and After Effects considered 'basic'? They are industry standard tools and exceptionally complicated in some respects. They also cost a considerable amount for someone who is looking for something 'basic'. |
