Yes you right. I want to capture and replay. It's stays in some buffer. Immediately after X seconds you can see it on some projector/display. I don't care about formats(any mp4, wmv asf, raw data in memory or on disk drive). I need cheap/reliable solution. As less programming as possible since I believe VLC and FFMpeg can do it somehow.

This tool is opensource and have nearly daily update for features and bug fixes. It is analyzer of media files. Have many levels of how deep it will report you about media file. While it is not checking integrity of whole media file it check correctness of headers and tells you about capabilities.

comment Status of Dirac Video, Speex audio, FLAC as tracks inside OGG container
Thanks for replay I also find that Speex is very useful:The Google Mobile App for iPhone currently incorporates Speex.[15] It has also been suggested that the new Google voice search iPhone app is using Speex to transmit voice to Google servers for interpretation.[16] Speex is used as the voice compression algorithm in the Siri voice assistance on the iPhone 4S.[21] Since text-to-speech occurs on Apple's servers, the Speex codec is used to minimize network bandwidth.
