Most likely seen in an airport near you, or perhaps a hotel. Just a self proclaimed technologist who works in professional audio, audio networking, and dabbles in photography. Still waiting to sell my first print to a non-relative.

Can sine wave break PA speaker? A sine wave can contain more energy than a musical passage of the same duration. Even with compressed music there is some amount of dynamic range in the music and it is fairly complex. With a sine wave it has no dynamic range and is always moving with no chance to "rest" for lack of a better term. @DrMayhem is correct it is all about the level and the amount of energy that your speakers can handle. Just remember that music peaking at 0VU is less energy than a sine wave peaking at 0VU. So keep the level moderate. |

What's the best before editing format to convert to? What platform/OS are you going to be editing on? |

What is the point of the ethernet plug: SoundCraft Si Compact 32? You should take a look at hiqnet.harmanpro.com as it has more information. The AKG app is just for microphones, there is also an app for Crown amplifiers. HiQnet allows for the control of all the pieces of a Harman audio system. |
