Hacking up a podcast functionality with the Behringer XENYX 1202FX. It sounds like you're doing a live web cast, not a recorded podcast. Is that right? Please provide more details of your setup. How many participants? Is there only one coming in via Skype? Do you only have one computer or two (one for Skype and one for the cast)? |

All-round vocal mic Agreed, they are very durable. If they get dropped they do dent, but it's not hard to beat the dents out. Good as new. |

For live recording, what features should a mixing console have? Perhaps this question is too general, but I feel compelled to help you out anyway. If selecting a board for live sound and your on a tight budget, make sure your board has mute, solo, and signal indicators for each channel. There will come a time when you're very happy you have each. If you want to know more, then asking about each in their own question might help you avoid the not-specific-enough trap. |
