I think only the filmer who was at the location can say what this is as it appears to be some physical movement generating the noise and exciting the wall lamps (a washing machine in the neighbouring room perhaps?)

comment Which music sw should I consider for aligning audio waveforms to MIDI piano roll, looping MIDI, managing program change, SysEx?
Ok, you're missing the point of Stackexchange if you refer someone to Google as your answer. You're also not addressing the points the OP states in his question as important. You just wrote down some general info on what you think about FL and how some of your favourite artists (rough assumption) use it.

Ok, and can Fruit Loops handle SysEx, one of the requirements of the OP? If so, link to a page describing the features of FL for example. If not, you should maybe describe how the OP should use SysEx with FL (maybe through a plug-in of some sort). But please, elaborate your answer.

How would you define easiest? What is easy for you might be complicated for others. The answer is too short and does not describe anything, hence not helpful.

comment zooming animation is not smooth in Premiere CS6
Does this only occur when you use the zoom and position keyframes? Try keyframing only the position and only the zoom to see if it occurs in those situations too.

Here it says that you can run LiVES from a DVD or bootable USB. Would that work for you?

comment How to compensate for red oversaturation and contrast increase?
To me Safari and Firefox look similar so that means that would mean it's not caused by a browser applying a specific colour profile. Here there are a bunch of other people with the same problem, I'm gonna dig through that to see if there's a fix. I also notice that the HTML5 player shows the colours closer to the source and the Flash player shows the above problem. This is becoming quite complicated...

comment Is there a good collection of examples of the different type of video cuts?
I haven't found a resource where all the cuts are collected. But if you search youtube for editing match cut or editing jump cut you'll get plenty of examples. One could collect those and put it in an answer to answer the question.

Yes, those are the settings I used for the original file (far right in the screenshot).

As far as I know Vimeo always transcodes, so that's not going to work. But thanks for the suggestion.

As I understand it the OP is more looking for examples of those cuts (to see the actual effect) rather than ways to actually generate that cut (with Avidemux). Hence the downvote.

comment Any DSLR monitors around 3 inches?
I doubt you will find an external screen no bigger than 3" as that is already the size of the built-in LCD screen of some DSLR's. Some even have 3.2". The main use of external screens is easier focussing and composing, and there a big screen is beneficial. You might be interested in DSLR's with flip out screens (e.g. the Canon 600d) as that will allow you to shoot from the ground, while still seeing the LCD. It's a much bigger investment though.

Or, print the images out, flip them Marvel style and record that with a camera. Make sure there's enough light.

comment FPS for the internet
A screen recording is when you record your computer screen with software to produce a video that can be used in e.g. a tutorial. So you don't have a screen recording. You do have used a camera to record a video. The frame rate (fps) you should chose should be the same as the frame rate of your source footage shot on the Canon XA10. You can run MediaInfo on your video file to see what the frame rate is. Post the results as an edit to your answer so people can help you better.

Your framerate firstly depends on your source footage. Could you elaborate a bit on what you're trying to upload? Is it a screen recording? A video from a DSLR? An animation? Secondly filehosters have limits to their supported frame rates. Vimeo for example supports 24 (or 23.976), 25 and 30 (or 29.97) frames per second.
