I need a new video player that can repeat when I want it to This question doesn't really fit the SE format as it is posed now. The question implies a list like answer, which may become out of date fast. Additionally you didn't mention your OS, so the answers should be quite broad. Please consider editing this question to make it more specific and fit to the SE format. See the faq for ways to improve it. |

Sine wave frequencies Tried it out in Ableton live with 436Hz and 444Hz. When you have both sounds through the centre channel you hear a sort of beat pattern. When you pan the 436Hz sound hard left and 444Hz hard right the beat pattern is almost inaudible and you just hear two separate sounds. |

How to fix an amplitude cutoff? It's called clipping and is already treated in this question: avp.stackexchange.com/q/7215/2178 |

Will low output volume affect the quality of the sound? I don't think the actual bit-depth will be affected, but the answer to your problem is probably more related to the signal-to-noise ratio. I don't know exactly how, so I will leave that to someone more knowledgeable. |
