What software exists to record into BWF on a Mac? @Friend Yeah, that falls under "very expensive DAW software". From what I've read, BWF is just WAV with a header, surely there's something out there that can generate such a file simply and cheaply? |

Do all USB microphones that offer 'monitoring' appear as output devices to the computer? That's true, audio adapters that offer monitoring also could potentially not appear as outputs. However, it's usually easier to find out whether they do or not (they usually will have a knob for the volume control for the computer output if they do) |

How do I line up multiple tracks to a 'master track' in Audition? In order to line up the stuff, I'd have to have the noise on every track. I've heard of people doing a countdown where everyone (supposedly) claps at the same time, but there seems to be a large potential for error. If someone claps a half a second too late they mess up the whole recording. |
