What's the right project profile for my WVGA60 videos in Premiere Elements 10? So I imported your clip into CS5.5 with project settings as DV 24p widescreen. Added a color curves effect and rendered to NTSC DVD @ 24 fps format. Worked fine. So without knowing more about Elements or your sys config, I can't help you out. FWIW, your cam is essentially recording NTSC DV Widescreen but in square pixels, and with a customized variant of H.264 codec called Ambarella AVC. So as a last ditch effort, you can try project settings of DV 24 or DV NTSC (both widescreen) to see if that works. |

What's the right project profile for my WVGA60 videos in Premiere Elements 10? One final suggestion for now: use 1280x720 as settings but with 60 fps as timebase. If that doesn't work, upload one of the smaller clips and I'll have a look tomorrow. |

What's the right project profile for my WVGA60 videos in Premiere Elements 10? No, first, you need to change project settings to match the clips. If you can't do that, open a new project with those settings and copy-paste the timeline. Next, you're still selecting a compression codec "Microsoft Video 1". Instead, it should be 'Uncompressed' or 'None'. I use Pro CS5.5, not Elements, so our options may not match. Also, keep field type to none or progressive. |

What's the right project profile for my WVGA60 videos in Premiere Elements 10? OK. Assuming your raw footage is 848x480 @ 60fps; change project settings to match clip properties. Then render video only to uncompressed Microsoft AVI (not DV AVI) with pixel aspect as square pixels (1.0) and keep resolution as 848x480. Keep frame rate as 60. BTW, make sure your footage is interpreted as 60fps. Check this by right-clicking the clip in media bin and going to 'interpret footage'. Hopefully this gets rendered without crashing. |

What's the right project profile for my WVGA60 videos in Premiere Elements 10? ok: here's a workaround which tries to avoid the original error without trying to solve it. Render your entire project to uncompressed AVI with audio codec PCM/16/48k/2.0 and video resolution as the final intended resolution. Keep the frame rate as 24. Then load the rendered AVI in AVIdemux, and convert the audio-video to MPEG4-AVC/AAC MP4 or whatever. |

What's the right project profile for my WVGA60 videos in Premiere Elements 10? You haven't mentioned any details of the rendered output target such as resolution, file format, video codec, audio codec..etc. Just the fact that your rendering crashes at 5 seconds before completion suggests file format issues, but we'll need more details to know for sure. |
