Part of my misspent youth was in a recording studio, where I ran cables, set up mikes and was generally abused by recording engineers, but I picked up a taste for complex music and an understanding of how hard it was to capture it well.
These days I do a fair bit of audio recording in the form of podcasts, including .NET Rocks! (www.dotnetrocks.com) and RunAs Radio (www.runasradio.com).
