What can I use to record a band with? @FriendofKim you could try something like the Alesis MultiMix 8. It is a small mixer with a USB 2.0 8 channel interface. It only has 4 XLR inputs, but you can get away with recording the drums with a few less mics for your purposes. I am currently using 2 overhead mics in an X pattern and 1 for the kick drum with very good results. |

What can I use to record a band with? I own the M-Audio ProFire 2626. I absolutely love it. It has 8 XLR jacks on the back and 2 - 1/4" jacks on the front with preamps. It also has 2 - adat optical jacks (16 channels total) on the back allowing you to expand later by adding pre-amps with adat out. It is easy to set up and use. You can get a firewire card for about $20. If you have a laptop, you might be limited to a USB interface. |

How do you make videos like this one? In order for this question to be answerable, you will need to provide your OS and what software you already have or are familiar with. Also, you will need to give a better idea of exactly what you are trying to accomplish. |
