What makes Touhou’s music so instantly recognizable? I am not sure it's really answerable. If you want to stand out and be different, you have to do something that's both different and noticeable :P nothing more to it. Obviously generating something different is easy, but I think what "stands out" can be pretty subjective and is getting more into psychology, which we don't cover. |
