comment How can I reduce noise with many cables?
Additionally: as long your microphone cables are XLR you are immune to external electric noise since the signal transfer is balanced: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Balanced_audio_connector

comment Is there a sample player (vst) plugin which is able to adjust the sample playback tempo using MIDI time code?
Cubase does have a tap tempo function. But it's only accessible through 2 dialog boxes. No hot key. And: Cubase does not allow to sync the project tempo to an external clock. And it does not allow to modify the project tempo by plugins.

There is no "realtime" switch for bouncing in Audition? Cubase does have one.

Thanks Bob. But that's the point. There are parts in songs when my band mates play alone. They don't hear my metronome click.

Thanks for the answer Mark. Could you address the second question too? "how do you handle mono tracks in mixing praxis so they won't sound quieter than the stereo tracks".
