I have 2 x passive kam 1000w (250w RMS) speakers and a Peavy PV 2600 Power Amplifier. The amp is 900 Watts RMS per channel into 4 Ohms and 550 Watts RMS per channel into 8 Ohms.

I would like to connect bass bins to the system but don't know how to connect them to the amp. How can I do this?

Also, if I did would this cause a better sound or would I be taking away from the passive speakers?

I am not an expert in this field. By the way I use this for disco's.

When you say bass bins, do you refer to low frequency speakers (sub-woofers)? – Eugene S Mar 20 at 7:12
