I have an old JVC 884-v with subwoofer out..trying to get some specs as I can't find a manual for it. It this output designed to go in a powered sub?

Got comfirmation from another JVC owner that the sub out is line level only. Has to have a powered sub to work. – a coder Jul 16 '12 at 0:06
