I'm searching for a professional camera (used) for football filming which is about 300-400 euro. I got a suggestion to buy this one which is 300 euro(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sony_DCR-VX1000).

My key question here is what video editor do you plan to use? This will have the largest impact on your selection.

I will assume that you will let us all know more about what specific things you need in your camera but I will go ahead and make some guesses.

First of all that old used Sony DCR-VX1000 would be better for a collector or someone that must use that era of technology. I recommend a new camcorder with the following features:

1) HD 1080p,

2) 10 x optical zoom,

3) digital memory storage, no tapes,

4) handheld portability (does not mean it skimps on resolution),

5) rugged,

6) built in stereo zoom mic,

Here are 4 video cameras that come to mind for under 400 euros (current exchange rate euro vs. US dollar is 1.3, so under $500 ish).
