I just bought a tv from my friend. I have n HD box from Comcast. When I use an HDMI cable I bought that says multimedia HDMI cable it doesn't work....but when I use the one that says Ethernet HDMI cable it does. Any reason this is occurring? Can there be something wrong w the TV? Thanks for the input guys....

Hi and welcome to AVP.StackExchange. Unfortunately we need to close these kinds of questions as they aren't really on-topic for this site (the site is about production, rather than home theater setup). We do have a proposal for a home theater site though! – Warrior Bob Apr 27 '12 at 17:04
