I'm preparing myself to buy Audio system for my TV. It will be used to listen music (pop, rock and alike), watching SD TV, watching HDTV and some Blue-ray movies. I'm looking into buying 6.1 system:
- BD-S1067 (BlueRay)
- RX-V2067 (amp)
- NS777 or NS555 x 2 (Fronts)
- NS333 or NS555 or NS777 x 2 (Backs)
- NSC444 x2 (center front, center back)
- YST-RSW300 (subwoofer)
I was thinking to buy same speakers for Back as Fronts due to not much place to put them. It seems easier for me to put 2 big NS777 in the back next to the couch (so i know they will stand still and won't be moved) then to put NS333 small ones on the floor that I will most likely kick by accident every now and then. I don't have much place to put the Back Speakers (NS333 I guess I could attach to the wall but it wouldn't be pretty) so that's why it seems reasonable to me to put exactly same speakers for front and back.
This audio system has to look nice and compose nicely with each other hence the Yamaha choice. The system is around 10000zł which is 2500euro or 3300$. Is this a good choice? Could it be better?
Also the system seems to support bi-wiring but HIFI guy from shop said that I won't notice any difference if I buy normal 2 x 1,5 mm^2 for backs and 2 x 2,5 mm^2 for fronts?
Room looks like this:
